Yes he was, Stevie Fast ran 3.82 to beat his 3.85. That red car is a bad mofo and is the real deal. I'm not a G.M. guy but you have to give credit where credit is due.
On one of the shows I heard Ryan Martin say he is running a wedge motor. That got my curiosity up so I started paying close attention for a shot of the red car with the hood off. During the testing in Tucson there was a good shot of the front of the car with the hood off. The big MSD magneto was sticking out of the right front of the block. Sure looked like a wedge engine to me. Anyone else notice that?
