Well THEY may have said that, but they and this reply are 100% incorrect. Watch any NHRA Div or National Race in SG, SC and you will see a ton of cars and drivers more than capable of going RED on a .400 tree. Moreover we actually have a .370 tree at those races. The reason its a .370 tree is for Pro Stock and PSM, otherwise they would be red all the time as well. Anyone who runs pro tree stuff is more than capable of going red on a .400 tree. Hell when I ran my heads up car I had to use an adjustable button with a long throw and stage as shallow as possible to not go red on a .400 tree and these guys make way more power than I did. Anyone who races much would easily be able to go red on a .400 tree with the kind of power these guys have just a fact.
