Lunchbox would have got schooled if he brought up street and the water box with me. Surprised nobody went after him with that lame ass explanation/example. They really missed a great opportunity to make him look like a fool.
That entire attitude of the SoCal group was why I quit street racing 30 years ago. A dumb and dumber element that had no honor or code when racing. The dynamic changed a lot around 84-86 time period with idiots pulling guns and other thug BS garbage.

Myself and friends of mine used to talk trash in the 80's but it was about cars not each other or personal attacks. Personally I hate all the BS up around the starting line now-a-days.
Bodie had a race at a track I was at, I was running another class separate from his deal, it was stupid to me with all the BS, kind of a joke, the cars are wicked fast but all the BS was too much.
