The biggest "issue" with the out of town races is they pick the spot, they test for a couple of days at the spot and don't allow the locals the same courtesy. So when race day comes they are far better prepared to get down that particular road than the "locals" are. Its TV they "need" a particular outcome.
Doesn’t sound like the kind of scenario that would make one puff out their chests as much as the 405 crew does.
From what I understand they raced in San Jacinto. I did not attend. Both sides had access to the "track" on Tuesday to test and they raced on Wednesday. The local guys/gals got at least 2 of the 11 races. The street racers around here just don't have the high end stuff the 405 has.
