You do everything you can for the slight edge. I used to have the brake lights on my old 69 Charger wired to a toggle switch so I could leave them on during a pass if needed. If someone was dumb enough to offer me a car or the leave & was watching my taillights I would already be on the move before they knew it.

Water burnouts were big here also as everyone just poured their 20 oz bottle down. I had VHT in the OEM washer bottle with blue food coloring added to it just to give it that blue tint on the inner fenderwell in the stock location & plumbed it to spray over the rear tires in the wheel wells.

This car also had two systems on it. One big kit & one bigger kit depending on the opponent's car. Even used both kits a few times. Had two bottles mounted in the trunk but one had a dummy braided line going to it. So, if someone would say they would only run me on motor only. We would remove the two bottle out of the trunk & let them see us doing it. My actual second kit was another (3rd) bottle mounted up under the dash.....
