There's some rumors floating around our area that guys are now using IR detectors to pick up the IR beams at the various interval points down the track (60 ft, 330 ft and MPH)
One of my friends noted that a number of Super Pro guys are not even throwing a glance at where the other car is on the track. That tells me that something fishy is probably going on.
If the theory about using the down track IR beams is true, it would sure be easy for the track to figure out. Just turn off one of those timers and whatch what happens.
