The tracks and the sanctioning bodies would have to get serious about going after this stuff on the local level. I believe it's also going on to some degree in the sportsman classes at the divisional and national event level. The smart guys are the ones building this stuff, the tech guys are always playing catch up. I remember a few years ago, it was announced by NHRA that there were going to be some tech people sent to California, I believe, for training in electronics.
