A couple of weeks later, the Valiant was moved to it's "Holding Cell" under the carport, where it always ends up when something is broken.

After some discussions with others, I decided on a few upgrades to the trans, and ordered the 300M input shaft, and hardened pump gears with the wider lugs, from A&A. Surprisingly I received a call from them a few days later, to explain that I needed to use the .030 washer they were including, if running a stock drum. Very impressed with their customer service.

Ordering parts is easier than working on the car though...and this picture was taken Feb. 1st, and I still didn't even have it on jack stands!

Second pic is of tubular K for turbo toad. I wanted it because it opened up much more space around the oil pan, making it much easier to remove, and install the engine, also will make it easier to install a diaper or pan for oil retention.
