Okay, been a while since I posted any progress, but I've been working on the steering wheel. Whew, shoulda got pics of it before but there were more cracks than I thought possible. The top portion of the wheel was so cracked it was spinning on the steel core!

I took an angle grinder with a cutoff wheel to clean out all the cracks (gulp!) and make them bigger. Then I applied a liberal dose of PC-7 Epoxy. This stuff is awesome! After that I got bummed and put it away for the winter because it was taking too long to make it look purty. I took up the cause again this spring and here are the results.
