Bore size and VVT or not are the main interchangability considerations but the SB has plenty of bore sizes crank strokes, main bearing sizes (gen III has 1) , 3 intake bolt patterns for production engines as well as a myriad of aftermarket intake bolt patterns if you get into serious SB heads, again Gen III has one main one and the hellcat.
