We have all followed Andys mostly stock block big block builds ranging from 600-900 horsepower NA. I'm not to mention a Name but one of our members drives a 68-69 Dodge Charger with a Hemi that runs 9.50's NA and 8.90's@156 MPH (not a lite weight) and has do so for years. If we are going to compare new school builds with some having 2 power adders (nitrous assisted) we gotta mention the old school stuff with a power adder. most of Andy's builds hit 800 PLUS NA with TrickFlow or Indy heads. Just think what he could do with B1's or MC B1's. add a power adder and we better all sit down for those numbers. The small blocks some of our guys are builder are off the hook with the way they run so there is no right or wrong way to go about it. The one thing I do get tired of hearing is guys complaining about owning "fat cars". Well there is a way to fix that issue too if you really want to go fast.
