Speakin of gettin carried away, the guy at the oil change place didn't this afternoon. They checked the trans lube all right, but didnt put the fill plug back in. I left Amarillo for Tulsa at 4, got about a hundred miles....trans sounded like it was a garbage disposal with a handfull of shrapnel in it. Oil Change place paid for tow bill, and will for a rebuild, Truck at trans shop delivered by flatbed. In Amarillo. Good thing I was a hundred miles away talkin to dude at oil change place! Sounded like somebody is in BIG trouble there. They found the plug in the pit. Guess thats one way to get the 'ol 833 od gone thru. arrrrgh!
