As for the unreliability of modules, I have lost 3 mopar units in a year, and in the past, I owned gm stuff, only lost one hei module, so experiences differ. I did the swap with better spark on a full 12 volts as my basis for better mousetraps aren't always made by the same manufacturer. Also I need the gm module to run the injection I am swapping to, as it sends a square wave signal, and the mopar unit does not.
