The carb of the week (LOL) is a Carter bbd 2bbl....I made an adapter for a Rochester 2gc a few weeks ago, and it ran really good, but the mileage really suffered. Back to the 'ol super six carb for now....lookin for another offy or clifford manifold. I have a brand new Edelbrock 500 cfm 4bbl.
I hear they do good mileage wise.
As far as needin a choke, I found out it has more to do with fuel drainin off....bad needle an' seat....duhhh...starts fine w/ no choke now!

O.G.
