Oh Monte the great Strange dealer, look into your crystal Strange catalog and tell us the future of 9". Can you order a true sheet metal housing (not w/ steel tubes) for a leaf spring application ready to go? I am leaning this way.
Also, any thoughts on the shock area modifications to the back brace?
No such thing, nor would you want that. Sheetmetal refers to center section, not entire housing. Even on really short housings, we use axle tubes.
On the one pictured the brace is not long enough and I don't care for the notches for the shocks
