When I had a 9 inch under the Savoy it had the double rib "WAR" carrier and it's still in use under a 67 Camaro running low 9' s.
I used the Daytona pinion support and 33 spline Moser axles and spool. Make sure you get the solid spacer to replace the crush sleeve. I've been seriously considering pulling the Dana and going back to the 9 inch just because of the easy service and wide range of gear options.
