I will bet money that you cannot build a 9" half as strong as my dana for what I have in mine. Its been 9.Os at 155 off the brake many street miles and I have 100 bucks in the limited slip and strange 35 spline axles. Stock gears, pinion hasn't been out of the rear since 1995. No fancy back braces just a aluminum rear cover with the bearing cap supports. The down side is this is the heaviest damn rear end you'll ever find in a drag car!! That's why I'll be pulling the Dana 70 and building a 9". gonna be tough to lose that 10.5 ring gear.
