A quick look on his web site and yes the u bolts interfere just like they would on a leaf spring car. Actually worse because the shock is mounted with another u bolt. So they would be further in stopping the back brace.
I sure dont like that everything uses a U-bolt to hold that stuff on... the spring pads you showed are nice and would simplify adding the back brace and in most cases wouldnt interfere with the stock shock location.. but being that most shocks are mounted to the pad one would have to be fabbed up.. which if its a race only car I would mount the shock vertical anyways
