I never said it wouldn't be safer. I'm just saying its not really an issue now. So why use that for an excuse to tell NHRA. That's what makes this class so cool. All of the limitations. I understand the cars already have many modifications but now would be a good time to stop with the rule changing. Except for hood scoops. Now thats a whole other subject. They really should give a ruling saying exactly what size the scoop should be. I don't care what size they were originally or who has one in their basement, just give me a measurement already. Otherwise I'll make mine 12" wide and 3" tall. Let's see if that will pass. Yeah, right.

And to answer your question. I really don't know for sure. Maybe it was a safety issue
