Come to think, is Super Stock running at the Gators this year? The Gators is one of the events that drop one of the Sportsman classes on rotation. This is what NHRA calls their 'enhanced program'.
IIRC, last year was Stock, year before was SG. I'll be dissapointed if it is Super Stocks turn this year with all the new cars coming out.

Yes super stock will be at the gators this year. But don't look for a lot of new cars to be at the gators this year, NHRA has this thing called grade points,and most of them don't have the grade points yet to get in,they will have to go to the div meets to get grade points, one point per div meet just another way for NHRA to control who will race at nationals event and another expense for the racers. Most of the guys that will be at the gators have 6 grade points that they earn last year. and NHRA also has only made room for 110 cars total for super stock at the gators and that for all super stock class cars.
