The only thing I can think of is people have broken steering box's because they cut away most of that area for header clearance.

I could see where it could also be a possible performance advantage.(ex.not having the #2 tube to be so tight to clear the box) and maybe a little easier on maintenance. I have a Hemi A-body and they are tough to work on ..no doubt.

Despite this I prefer the stock suspensions to remain. The class is getting too far away from "stock" as it is...
