The best my GTX ever went with a stock block and -1 heads was in the 8.30s. The car was 3300lbs and that was with a single fogger and the motor was only 446 inches. This was back in the mid 90s. Ladder bars and 29.5 tires.
The next motor was a Mega-Block, with B-1 heads and was 422 inches. It went a best of 8.14 with a single fogger,
