My RR is setup as a protouring type car seeing lots of regular street duty in cities. With the old 284/484 cam in a 383 it is certianly street friendly but it is important to get it in the right combo. And I ran 13.2 at almost 107mph on low profile street tires in the car so I would say it certianly can make plenty of power & work on the street. Of course mine has a real 9.5 to 1, 3.91 gears and a stick with no need for vacuum which is good because I could not get anymore than 9" of vacuum out of mine. Todd
