I voted for "Find a Heater box and restore it" because A/C adds weight and draws on the motor which takes away from performance and thus the fun too. Then again I'm a windows down type of guy. But IMO you don't want to run without a heater. You may want to cruise it on a cooler night and a heater doesn't add too much weight.
