Believe me, I've learned that too. I'm another young gun with a big project and a small budget. Here's my info.
The Project: Completely Restore a 1969 Charger with a budget of 10k
The Crew: One 15 year old; Cody
The Goal: Have the car completely done for senior prom in 3 years. I'm in gr.10 right now
Basic Info: I'm gonna attempt to restore my Charger in a period of 3 years with very little skills when it comes to cars and dodgecharger.com backing me up.
The Car: Originally a 318, now a 383 auto. Rusty quarters, front floor pans, torsion bar crossremember, rear valance and left rear frame rail. I basically got all the parts except for the windshield and a few interior things. Of course, I need alot of new sheetmetal. Colour scheme is going to be silver with a black R/T stripe and the original rare black C5X/C21 interior.
I'm in phase 2......disassembly. Its hopefully gonna go to the bodyshop in Spring 2008.
Keep up the good work on your Superbee guys!!!
-Cody
