Now residing in its new home until I get it roadworthy.

Gotta love the snow tires.

Missing one stud...

...make that three.

Ick.

Ick again.

Right front. Strangely, and I thought a got a picture, the left front had nothing but a wheel cylinder in it. It probably did not brake very even.

Progress!

Sorting and getting ready to clean up the parts to be reused.

Amazing the wheel cylinder still moved inside. Fluid was actually kinda clean. Got the bore measured and the first order of parts on the way. Time to clean up the backing plates before reassembly. No, not going to pull the axles to remove the plates. Will just clean them with a liberal amount of brake clean. Removing the axles will make a tiny snowball. Then the seals will need replaced while they are out and the snowball grows. Then with new seals and pretty backing plates there is no reason to put the old bearings back in, and man, those axle flanges look like crap! But then putting the nice backing plates on the ugly rear housing... Can't do that. Better strip it. Yep, that's how it would go. Best to just clean the plates and put the thing back together. Although I will most likely turn the drums and blast them. Maybe not in that order.
Stay tuned!
