I have debated alcohol and even E-85. Both are interesting options. I run a pretty small fuel cell, and switching to alcohol would probably require me to increase the size of it. What is your compression only reason I asked is a friend tried. 114 last year and his car slowed down, he only has about 12.1 compression so lower octane might be something to try to

71 demon stock stroke 440/indy ez-1 running 10.10 @ 132.14 mph in the 1/4 and 6.36 @ 107.46 mph in the 1/8 not in the same weekend but It did it then I sold it.
