Lets see if I can explain this correctly.
The VVT crank needs the snout where the crank timing gear rest against to be machined so the gear sits in the same factory location on an NON VVT block. Simple process. The cam in a VVT block is longer. Steff posted some pics when he built his 6.4. Matt
