generic pinion depth tool sucks!!! I see Jegs lists the housing for $1100...."for high torque applications" . Personally i think if you put 10 gear sets up head to head the aluminum housing would generally last longer than it's old steel counter part.... but for the investment.... definately better ways to spend your money.
