I guess I'll give this a bump for the evening crowd and tell you all that I AM FREAKING GOING OUT OF MY MIND!!!!!!


I can't get any end play out of the input shaft... I started out with a thick thrust washer, torqued down the pump, no end play. Put in the thinnest washer, no end play... removed the washer entirely. No end play. If I pull the bolts so it's not torqued down but seated against the gasket, I get about .020-.025. I pull the front and rear retainers out and the shell and planetaries spin smooth as silk and have plenty of end play. I'm out of things to try.
