Nothing wrong with trying, but all we have are photos and what he's told us. WE can't inspect these parts up close like a good machinist can, there's a ton of things that needs measuring-inspection, so we're all just shooting in the dark. It's a wonder he's not confused with all the conflicting opinions of just the bearings, let alone the rest of the engine. A good engine builder-machinist is his only recourse to learn what happened.
