Nacho while you're covering repair. Battery to starter relay should be 10 gage (or is it larger on the B-bodies?) and have insulation for engine compartments. GPT insulation is OK inside the car, not for the engine side. Marine is OK and has heavier wire and is tinned. Insulation marked TXL, GXL, SXL, & TWP is OK for engine area as is battery/starter cable.
