Well... I did mention at the first of the story last year that Dale was putting together 3 engines in two weekends. I ordered the Hughes STL6872 with lightweight cool face lifters, custom ground on a 110 lobe center. Dale got a spring, locks and retainer package from competition products based on the numbers I gave him, which was .632/.639 lift. Seems the used Racer Brown rockers on Atoetly's SR heads were 1.6 ratio.
and... While they had the pan off it appeared the crank had excessive for/aft movement. Measures out at .009, so now they may need to check the thrust bearing.
Dale is putting a roller in the Gremlin engine, and Darren is putting a roller in the Charger engine...we've lost our way somehow!!
