I think they should be allowed to run. They are of the same "spirit" as the '68 cars.(Factory built race cars)

I would like to see a big money, heads-up, non-NHRA race for the SS/AH cars. Like the outlaw 10.5 guys do. Something like $20,000.00 to win. Have NHRA tech with a pro-tree.(no redlights) Have it in the center of the country.(Indy,St.Louis,etc.) Make it an all run field with a qualifying ladder. Qualify on Friday night and two times on Saturday, race on Sunday.

I think you could get 50+ cars to show. I know Vegas and Englishtown sort of do this. They don't draw from the entire country at these races and have small fields. I think if you did this right it would be huge.
