they are working on getting nhra to allow the 64 car in ss/ah..

they made a seperate class for the hemi cars, calling it ah, allowing both manual and automatic trans cars to save the hemi shootout, or to save the sanctity of the hemi class. they now allow cars to move up or down a class in super stock. that means that all the chevrolet "b" cars could race a/a now. it really doesnt matter, westcott showed at maple groove this year that the chevies cant run with a hemi at the same weight/power factor. westcott was even faster than all barton cars with 125lbs in his car, weighing about 3340, to bartons' customers 3210. .
