you use a brush, and hit the corners first. dabbing, not stroking, makes the texture the same as the roller. you can run the lip of the roller right up to the edges, if needed. sorry to hear about your broken thermometer. i fixed that, by abandoning the northeast and running for the fishing capitol of the world.
