I'm 60 and my newest car is older than our '68 GTS was when we bought it in 1983, but just barely. I can't afford anything newer that is interesting so it doesn't really matter what I think on the matter, but if I had a pile of cash to put into anything car related it would go directly into the old stuff with my wife's complete blessing.
I thought you had a newer "BM Trouble You" convertible?
Yup, but it's now older than the GTS was in 1983...and has more miles on it, but is in considerably better condition...
