To each their own. I personally get a sense of accomplishment from keeping my old trucks on the road. Our new one is a really nice truck but it's just something we bought, not something I've invested my time and talent in.
That surely equates to the "Pride" that "True" old car owners have towards old iron. Sets them apart from the ones who have invested $$ only when buying "New".
