Im in the market for a car. I Gave some VERY serious thought to a newer challenger ,,,maybe even a Viper.
I went so far as to take a test drive in a newer SRT Challenger. Car was fun, damn quick and handled great. Actually did everything I want ,,, BUT when I got outside of it , stepped back and take a look. I just couldnt do it.
To me that itch is / can only be filled with vintage iron. IMO they have a soul the new stuff just cant duplicate. And as far as buying something modern drive train in vintage sheet metal intrigues me to a degree. But ..its just not the same , At least not to me
You are an inspiration and THIS is what should be the theme of the responses here instead of all the congratulations.
It is sad to see guys happy about a car guy selling out. Build a car right and it won't be a disappointment when you drive it.
