I'm mid-50 also and my problem isn't necessarily the old vs new. It is more of a time and money issue. 4 old cars to get on the road after all these years and 5-6 years to make it happen, plus 2 boys to put through college. For a fact I know I can get 2 of the cars done and on the road and that is great. But retiring and knowing we are moving and having to haul 2 non-runners and all the parts just seems a bit daunting. In the meantime I have an 06 Mustang GT to have fun with and to me that is fine. It basically runs like a little 289 car and is fun to drive. Might consider selling the Bee and Barracuda for a newer Challenger or even the right 2nd gen GT coupe Viper. One way or another I have my hands more than full.
