Just to set the record straight, preservation of a survivor is not the same thing as a restoration. While I am sure Bob and his boys are more than capable of either. It just never hurts to do a little home work when presented with one of the few cars that will ever be able to attain that level of survivor, ever. To seek out the advice of people that have successfully been down that path before is something that most anyone would have to do as this process is seldom done as very few cars can meet the standards. There are 100+ restored 66 Hemi cars. This car is one of a hand full of 1966 Hemi cars that I have ever seen that it seems possibly could ware that survivor badge of honor. Along with the added value and notoriety you also end up with a car that would be much more usable than a concourse show poodle. Again to be perfectly clear the car in my opinion is worth more money as a survivor than a 100 point show car and it would take much less money to get there.

Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.
