Correct,they were very seldom left on the engine.
Just one question When these were originally assembled , wasn't the engine / transmission , K-member & front suspension installed from the BOTTOM"?" If so ...... Why the need for the "lifting bracket" ? Was it from when it was lifted onto the K-frame?
