Obiviously anything that has sat for 40 years and has not been started for 20 years and not stored in a climate controlled storage should and needs to be dissassembled and check and reassembled.A complete or partial paint is also needed. The gas alone was in a varnish jell state. As this car was purchased from a dealer 20 minutes for here in SW Pa. it was treated to the heavy factory under coat that is hardened and falling off exposing the perfect under pans. The wheelcylinders and bushings and anything else to make this car dependable and road worthy will be replaced as the owner,a older retired gentalman wants to once again enjoy this muscle car.Any and all the original parts that are to be replaced will be "tagged and bagged" for future refrence or "show and tell" by the owner.
