Also keep in mind..... your motor is making more power than that, generally the car is never fully optomized to use everything the engine has. Your motor would probably make at least 630 on dyno I use, 650+ on most.

I often see cars not running #, that match well to HP #'s. But in real good setup, like a NHRA S/S or stocker etc, they usually use every bit of power.

I did 367" W2 motor for "mloboda" earlier this year, it "only" made 609? HP but ran 9.79 @ 136 @ 3020 weight already in summer air. That is just good working car that gets almost everything out of motor.... it's stick car, with high $ lightweight clutch/pressure plate/flywheel, so power losses are minimal & chassis works extremely well, not alot of wasted motion etc. If you put that motor in typical 3020# bracket car with a 727, 8% slip converter, leaf springs & 10" slick, it would probably run 10.20's @ 131-132.
