Ryan.......U might want to make it clear that the Moroso calculates FWHP NOT RWHP....

I may be wrong...but I get the feeling most on here think its RWHP....which unfo. is NOT correct.

We had this debate down here a while back...someone even rang Moroso..got some kid on the phone who claimed it was RWHP.....however other members might want to review the question and response below b4 any of you answer on this...

Im curious as to what the Moroso calculator says my car makes. I did'nt put my motor on an engine dyno, but I did put it on a rear wheel dyno (Dynojet) after I put the motor in the car. Car made 480 RWHP and is about 3250 lbs with me in it. Its run a best of 6.53 @ 104.7 with a 1.42 60'in the 1/8th.

This was the result of the above request:

Quote:

6.53 1/8 = 10.20 1/4 =555hp at 3250 pounds

for the moroso speed calculater

So clearly the Moroso in this case is revealing a very accurate FWHP

The Moparts Tech calculator is also WRONG where it says RWHP...its the same table as drawn from the Mopar SB book....but someone has typed in RWHP where in fact its FWHP.

Perhaps the Mods could alter this.....???

I get the feeling some may be disappointed with this..but "thems the facts"

See Ryans response here also....
