Ryan, your right on the money there. The Daytona was the car that I watched run. The deal I was trying to get at was this was an old school non-stroked sbm that really kicked. Might not have made the top of your list, mostly due to displacement, but it still was impressive. I Wish I knew more about the specifics to get a good comparison number.

In the ported OEM category, our claimer engine from my old Wissota modified runs 11.20's @ around 117 mph in a 3000 lb Duster. That is with modestly ported 360 hs heads.

As for dynos, my engine builder's put my 360+060 W2 (270 cfm) engine at 483 hp. This was a 12.5:1 Ross pistoned, ultradyne flat tappet (rules) engine. Headers were LA and blocked about 15% of port. W2 headers hit the dyno. Pulled right with the 560 HP sbc stuff out there (from another builder with another dyno, go figure).

It's all in the way it races, not the numbers on some paper. Keep up the good work Ryan and let's all try to help each other go fast and have fun.
