Why would the factory not use the left over all chrome Magnum rims until that supply was used up? Would it have made financial sense for Chrysler to just sit on those full chrome rims instead of putting them on the cars like they did with the black buttoned door handles and the chrome shift knobs? I see no reason why Chrysler wouldn't have done this. As long as it did not effect the fit or the function of the part, they changed out stuff all the time just to keep the assembly line moving.

I'm sure if we searched hard enough, we will come across some late 68 dated chrome Magnum rims that were installed on some early 69 model year cars.
Then start searching, again I have never heard or seen anything on this, never, unless facts are found I wont believe it
