a will is an absolute necessity. [as one who has been slowly "getting around to it". ] before my younger sister got too sick, she had me set up a will, power of attorney, made financial matters in order, etc. with my attorney. when she passed, all her affairs were in order, which simplified the work i had to go through as executor of her estate, much easier than if she hadn't done so. it was still tough [for various reasons], but would have been much harder if we had not done anything while she was still here.
