You only have to look at examples such as Mr. P-body, Dj Duster, Boone with the Truck, or Dale with his Gremlin to see how tough it is to build something from scratch in 1 year and make the show. Many guys have done very well even winning their classes, then go home and plan big changes for the next year, only to miss making it, or breaking early with an un-proven combo. I've got 2 cars pre-entered, and I want them both ready to go in Bowling Green come September.
