STEFF You can excusse my ignorance here but where does the oil go once it hits the cam. The VCT is contoled by oil pressure right? I'm trying to figure out how the VCT works.
The oil goes from the oil passages in the cam to the Cam Phaser. The cam Phaser advances/retards the cam hydraulicly, and is controlled by the VCT Solenoid, directing the oil where it needs to go.
After the oil goes through the phaser does it dump outside of it? Will it dump on your belt drive?
